➤ Every Friday, Bonifratres monks walked around Lutsk, collecting donations for a shelter for the mentally ill.
➤ The Bernardines of Lutsk believed that the Carmelites church was the most beautiful in the city until the fire of 1800.
➤ In the 1950s, a noble burial site with valuable jewelry was found beneath the buildings of the Bridgettine Sisters complex. A tunnel led from the site to the river. Dungeon are also known in the structures of the Dominicans, Jesuits, Bernardines, and Trinitarians.
➤ The Dominican monastery had a music chapel with up to 40 people.
➤ In the 16th century, the Dominicans of Lutsk established a paper mill-the first center of paper production in Volyn. In the 18th century, the monks also founded a printing house.
➤ In 1630, the Jesuits opened their own pharmacy in the city.
➤ Lutsk had three public clocks that helped residents keep track of time. One was on the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, and in the 18th century, the Jesuits and Dominicans installed additional clocks on their towers.
